We Treat the System.
No Just the parts
Most pain is a signal — not from the place that hurts, but from a body-wide system trying to communicate. At Missing Link PT, we listen to the whole message. We find what's truly driving your symptoms, create the conditions for healing, and walk with you through a transformation that goes far deeper than pain relief.

We Treat the System.
No Just the parts.
Most pain is a signal — not from the place that hurts, but from a body-wide system trying to communicate. At Missing Link PT, we listen to the whole message. We find what's truly driving your symptoms, create the conditions for healing, and walk with you through a transformation that goes far deeper than pain relief.
The Body Is Not
a Collection of
Broken Parts.
"The body has an extraordinary capacity to heal — when it's understood, supported, and given the right environment."
This is the foundation of everything we do at Missing Link PT. Conventional physical therapy often treats the location of pain and calls it a day. We believe that's not enough — and for patients who've been through the system and still aren't better, it's often why they're still struggling.
Your body is an interconnected whole. The nervous system, the musculoskeletal system, the visceral system, your movement patterns, your history — all of it speaks to what's happening now. We read that language fluently.
Pain is a Signal, Not a Sentence
Chronic pain doesn't mean permanent damage. It means the system hasn't received the right response yet. That's what we provide.
"Chronic" Means Misunderstood
We've never accepted that word as a final answer. In our experience, what looks chronic usually has a root cause that hasn't been fully explored.
Healing Happens From the Inside
We don't heal you. We create the conditions — mechanically, neurologically, and functionally — for your body to heal itself. That's a meaningful difference.
You Are the Expert on Your Own Body
Your story is clinical data. We take the time to listen fully — because the details others dismiss are often exactly what leads us to the answer.
Care Should Be Transformational
We're not counting visits. We're invested in the full arc of your recovery and the life you want to return to. That's what drives every session.
Your Body Is One
Interconnected System.
We Treat It That Way.
Knee pain traced to hip restriction. Back tension driven by visceral adhesions. Shoulder dysfunction rooted in how the nervous system learned to protect after an old injury. These connections are real — and they're what we're trained to find.
We assess how your whole body moves — not just the painful region. Compensations, asymmetries, and movement gaps reveal the real story.
Every treatment plan begins with a clinical hypothesis — a reasoned theory about the root cause, built from your full history and our examination.
Restrictions in your internal organs and connective tissue can create musculoskeletal pain. We include the full body — not just the frame.
A nervous system in protection mode can perpetuate pain long after injury. We work to reset threat signals and restore normal movement confidence.
Skilled hands-on work — trigger point dry needling, soft tissue mobilization, joint work — to remove barriers and restore movement quality.
The goal is never just "less pain." It's returning to the activities, performance, and life that matter to you — fully and confidently.
We Don't Just
Heal You.
We Elevate You.
Recovery and performance are not two separate goals — they are two points on the same continuum. Once the barriers are removed and the system is functioning as it should, the body doesn't just return to baseline. It can exceed it.
Andre works with runners, athletes, and active individuals who want more than pain relief. Whether you're a competitive runner looking to optimize your mechanics, an athlete returning to sport after injury, or someone who simply wants to move through life with greater power and ease — we use the same whole-system lens to help you perform at a level you may not have thought was possible.
As a USA Track & Field Level 1 Certified coach, Andre brings both the clinical and athletic perspective to performance work — understanding not just how the body moves, but how to train it to move better.
Gait analysis and mechanical correction for runners at every level — from recreational joggers to competitive track athletes.
Functional movement optimization for athletes returning from injury or seeking a performance edge through better movement quality.
Proactive system screening to identify vulnerabilities before they become injuries — keeping you in the game longer.
Building the physical capacity to not just recover, but to do more, move more freely, and feel stronger in everything you do.
We Are Not
Transactional.
We Are Transformational.
Most physical therapy clinics operate on a volume model — see as many patients as possible, run through the protocol, send them home with a sheet of exercises. The relationship ends when the authorization runs out.
We built Missing Link to be the opposite of that. Our investment in you doesn't follow a billing cycle. It follows your progress, your goals, and the full picture of the life you want to live.

Dr. Andre Heletsi,
DPT
Andre didn't arrive at this philosophy from a textbook. He built it over nearly two decades of listening carefully to patients who had been through the system and still weren't better — and refusing to accept that as the final word.
After earning his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh (2006), Andre trained in acute hospital care at Sibley Memorial Hospital, was mentored in chronic orthopedic and performing arts rehabilitation at Body Dynamics, and deepened his skills in hypothesis-driven care and trigger point dry needling at Bodies in Motion. He is also a USA Track & Field Level 1 Certified coach, bringing a deep understanding of athletic movement, running mechanics, and performance development to his clinical work.
In 2014, he founded Missing Link PT around a single conviction: the patients labeled "chronic" were simply "misunderstood" — and what they needed wasn't a new diagnosis, but a clinician with the time, skill, and curiosity to keep asking questions until the answers came. Today that mission extends beyond recovery: Andre works with athletes and active individuals not just to eliminate pain, but to unlock levels of performance they didn't know were possible.
A Whole-Person Team for a Whole-Person Practice.
